Anybody have a set of Morris Style Rocker plans I can borrow?
I’ll take good care of them (promise) and send them right back when I’m done.
I’ll send a self addressed stamped envelope.

Thanks a bunch.

Didn’t know there was a Morris ROCKER… All I’ve seen is the Morris chair.

There will be when I build one….lol
Morris chair with rocker feet I guess I should have said.
And it’ll be big like they make things in Texas!

I saw the plan for the Morris chair somewhere. If I can locate it I’ll get it to you. And, yep, everything is big in Texas – except my wallet. Shop keeps it kinda slim

I suggest purchasing the book…

Popular Mechanics Company
Mission Furniture:
How To Make It
(Parts I, II and III Complete)

This is a paperback reprint of 1909 to 1912 issues & includes a Morris Chair & a Rocking Chair that, while not labeled a Morris Rocker, is quite obviously of the same design. I purchased the book at Rockler when I was looking for a “Porch” Rocker. Here's a link to the book at Amazon

Here’s another book you may like… My wife got me this book last week. It has a lot of projects including a Mission Rocker that’s of the Morris Chair design. I added a photo of the back cover of the book to Amazon’s photos of the book. ( Mouse over the added customer image of the chair for the note.) The rocker is even featured on the back cover of the book. She bought it at the “B.O.R.G.”. That’s the Big Orange Retailing Giant (Home Depot). Here’s the name of the book and a link to Amazon…
