finish for trinket box

Well I have turned my first little trinket box with the lid and now I need some help on the finish;;;I have been making pens and using eee on them and then shellwax which does a great job but eee is very expensive for bigger projects;;;can someone help and tell me a good finish with a lot of gloss;;thank you

Spray-bomb lacquer is a good choice. Spray on a few light coats of gloss, and if you need it glossier you can always rub it out to a higher sheen.
