Does anone know of plans for making a simple manual tenon cutter, sort of what I’ve seen Roy Underhill use? I’d like to be able to cut tenons in the end of branches occasionally, and I don’t want to lay out big $$$ for the Veritas or Bosworth power versions.

I believe you are thinking of a rounder plane or a witchet. Here’s Roy’s plan for the rounder: ”:http://www.pbs.org/woodwrightsshop/howto/images/e2104Rounderplane.pdf”
