If you’ve been reading my blog you know I am building a new shop and moving in soon-ish.

Well, its time to downsize some tools and lumber.

I am selling a few large items, as well as tons of small items. Here’s your chance to come pick through my shop and make deals with me. The early bird will score some pretty sweet worms.

I would much rather make this invitation to the LumberJocks community first, and give you some great deals before opening this up to the typical Craigslist scum.

I’m in Santa Cruz, California. Send me a message if you want to come check it out.

And by the way there is a pretty cool store (where I used to work) called Drew’s Used Tools in Santa Cruz as well. So if you make the trip its also worth checking out. There are hundreds of bins of neat old tools and woodworking machinery for good prices. It also happens to be across the street from our Flea Market on the weekends. You could make an entire tool-buying pilgrimage out of it!

Check out my WORKSHOP to get an idea of what I’m talking about.

Included in the sale:

  • My PERFECTLY tuned Delta contractor Table Saw with VEGA fence.
  • All Cabinets on the walls.
  • Pegboard.
  • My HUGE workbench (See my Workshop photo #4)
  • Various hand tools including some antiques.
  • A few marking and measuring tools.
  • A few small power tools that I have duplicates of.
  • Lumber… exotic and domestic hardwoods, mostly small but really nice pieces.
  • Lots of other random shop accessories.
  • My Router Table (not including Incra fence or plate)
  • My Horizontal Router Mortiser (including router plate and maybe even the Bosch router)

I can’t really make it out to Santa Cruz any time soon, but what kind of old hand tools do you have?

Tim… I’m not even entirely sure what smaller items will be for sale yet. I just know I need to scale back a little and thin out the collection.

Oh man, selling that router table. I’ve had your project bookmarked for a while, just don’t have the room the garage for something like that.

If you were 1,600 miles closer I’d be there, sorry. Good luck with the sale and move.
