They should go away if you’re logged in…

Of course, you couldn’t have posted unless you’re logged in…

In which case you MAY have some kind of malware on your computer…

Good Luck!

I’ve only noticed them on Sunday’s and holidays. May be just a coincidence.

Maybe I’m paranoid, but it seems that every time I cancel some unwanted program, like anti spyware or malware, I start getting more popups and other annoying stuff. Maybe these anti- companies are purposely putting viruses on the computer so you will go to them to have it removed. Many times, I will get a popup that states; “your computer is at risk and should be seen to. Click here for a free scan”. I can’t get rid of the message, so I click on the free scan. The scan runs and comes back with various errors that need to be addressed. Then the sales pitch appears trying to sell me protection. I have fallen for this several times while trying to get my computer to work. The fix works, but as soon as I try to cancel, the problems come back. Maybe I’m paranoid, but I believe these online companies are responsible for all the computer problems that they fix. It’s like they have your PC on an on/off switch; pay and the switch is off; cancel and the switch goes on. The internet is a fantastic tool, but hackers and others are destroying it for us. I’s certain there is a conspiracy afoot.

Have your say...
