Free instructions for Sam Maloof style rocking chair (almost 40 pages). I have changed this info so if you want the new stuff do a Google search for ‘kappel rocker’ then click on the ‘code’ button to get the info you want. I offer all the good stuff even shop secrets with lots of pictures and shop jigs. I will be adding pictures to the FREE stuff in the future along with new text.

For other readers, Bill sent me a set of the plans and they’re awesome! Looking forward to when I have time in the shop to build one!

this is a generous offer, but I’m afraid it is beyond my abilities. I may still ask in the future, but don’t want to waste your time unless there is a serious chance I’ll be able to build it relatively soon.

With my instructions any woodworker can make this rocker, but I cannot attach the info to this forum email. Do a Google search for ‘kappel rocker’ and send me the code # for the info you want.

Sorry I don’t play cards. Poker is something that does not benefit me. I would rather use my time woodworking.

Thanks anyhow,

I just finished looking through Bill’s web site -beautiful and wise. Bill goes over the need for a rocking chair to fit and his reasons. From one who went four counties sitting in old and new rockers I can attest that the best rocker is a comfortable fit.

Thank you Elaine, for the kind words. If you want the free instructions you will have to do a Google search for ‘kappel rocker’ this way you will get a fresh page and not some old posting. Once the web site is open click on the left button ‘classes/code’ and send me the code # you are interested in. Send your request to my email not LJ because I can not attach a file to this LJ format.
