Is any else bothered by the obnoxious placement of ads on this site directly between the post photos and the comments section? It didn’t used to be that way. I can live with the ads in the sidebar, but the others are visually annoying and highly disruptive to the message that the site is trying to deliver.

I use Chrome with AdBlock Plus….
NO ads!!!

AdBlock Plus is a FREE download & works with many browsers.

No Ads here for me, anywhere and I don’t have “AdBlock”. Good idea though for your situation. I use IE 10 and Windows 7.

My Anti Virus “Avast” the free editon, has a built in adblocker. I guess that’s what’s doing it for me.

A lttle green circle shoed up one day, beside my “Home” Icon at the top. “Avast Ad Tracker” (Who they Block from Tracking me) and show you who. On this Site it was “Google GPT”, “Google Analytics”, Scorecard Research” and “Knox”.

It also has a “Safe Or Not” Section. “Avast Has Scanned This Site”. In this case it was “No malware detected”, “No phising detected” Etc.

Hope you find something that works for you Beth.

Chrome with AdBlock Plus is now installed. No more ads. So much better. Now I can browse in peace again. Thanks Rick and DIYaholic.
