Topic tags/keywords: worksharp sharpening tool plane blade chisel jig I was wondering if ayone had tried it and had an opinion as to how well it works and if you believe it is worth the 85 or so dollars. I have not tried it yet or as a matter of fact bought it. I just got my WS3000 for Christmas and I love it. I did add the leather hone and getting fantastic results on my chisels and turning tools. I would like to know the same thing you do,” Is it worth the $85 or so?” -- Jerry--A man can never have enough tools or clamps |

I managed to pick up one on eBay for about $40 + shipping but haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I love the WS3000 with a leather wheel which I picked up for $175 with FREE shipping. I have never gotten my chisels and plane irons so sharp by hand before. |

Thanks. Perhaps I will swing by Rockler on my way home Friday and see if they have the wide blade attachment. Been looking for a good wide blade solution, but so far I have not been willing to get a sharpener in addition to my worksharp. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

Keep posting more information you Lumberjocks? I have the 3000 but am still deciding whether to let go of the bucks for the wide blade attachment. -- Only the Shadow knows.................... |

I picked one up earlier today. Hopefully, I will have time to try it out this weekend. Rockler had it for $69.99 and I was able to use a $15 off coupon. So less expensive than I had anticipated. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

I got one and find its better than the chisel slots on the front of the machine. My planes are so sharp they glide through the wood. I must get the leather wheel attachment. -- Regards, Rob |

I just sold my Tormek. Good luck on your worksharp tools. -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. No wait that doesn't sound right. Karson Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com † |
