I am seriously downsizing and reorganizing my shop (see my workshop pics and description) consequently, I have a Delta Model 46-700 Delta 12” Variable Speed Wood Lathe for sale. It includes an inexpensive set of tools and original manual. Very good condition. If you watched The New Yankee Workshop last week, this is the same model lathe that Norm used on the lazy susan table. This belonged to my father and when he passed away 9 years ago I stored it in my son’s garage. He needed the space and so here we are- Used very little – probably less than 10 hours total use . . $250 405-391-7288

That is a bargain. Hope you find a taker at that price.

If you still have this lathe, I am interested in buying it. Please let me know if you still have it and your location.
Thanks, Jim

Jim, yes and no. I have committed to sell it to a fellow, but he can’t pick it up until next week. I am taking his word that he will show up and take the lathe. If by some chance he doesn’t show, would you like me to contact you? I live in Harrah, Ok. which is on the eastern side of Oklahoma city. I would be willing to meet you (or other buyer) at a reasonable midway point.

Gary, didn’t mean to insult you, just covering my bases. I was stood up twice on a Porter Cable nail gun a month or so ago. No money needed, and I look forward to meeting you. Give me a call as agreed upon. thanks, Ken

Ken, thanks for the information. If for whatever reason your deal with Gary doesn’t work out, just let me know. Otherwise, I will just keep looking.
Jim.

Well, I met Gary and his son to day and he is now a proud lathe owner. A pleasure to meet another LJ and wish him the best of luck. Ken

Got it home, set on a stand and have used it. Probably going to get a new set of tools, but I am happy with the purchase. Thanks Ken. By the way, it was good to meet you. Little cool and windy.
