Has anyone used any of the metallic spray paint on wood yet? I saw a cool table with hammered metal legs and I am definitely not paying the amount this guy paid for legs. I am going to make my own hammered look on a wood slab. I’ve seen wood painted with the metallic paint that looks great, just not sure what brand. Please let me know any tips if you have used it before and what brand worked best for you. At this point I’m thinking Rustoleum.

I did some metallic paint work on this project. I started with flat black primer, followed by a silver “hammered” texture, a wet wash coat of black acrylic paint that was hand applied and selectively wiped off, finished with satin spray lacquer.
