Topic tags/keywords: saw dovetail saw tennon saw western saw

Hey all, I just got home from an antique tool barn where they had a 12” or so long western saw with a steel back. The two best saws both had at least an 3/16 inch bend in the tooth area while sighting down the blade, not a bow from front to back but within 1-2 inches along the teeth. its a thin blade and when I flex the saw to a straight position if flexes right back. My question is can this be removed or does this make it a junk saw?
