Topic tags/keywords: crate storage

20+ years ago the BORG opened its first store in the area, about 40 miles or so from us. they had a HUGE pile of plastic crates, I bought 2 or 3 that were 12×18 x 12 or there a bouts. they turned out so handy I wanted a bunch more. when we went back they no longer had crates.

the only thing I see these days is a crate for hanging file folders, no where sturdy enough for tools and stuff like that.

these crates were about half again larger than a milk crate, but built as heavy.

Does anyone know if crates like these are available anywhere???

I purchased some milk crates from sony picturers (you may be able to purchase some from your local dairy). They work fine for heavy storage if you line the bottom with plywood.

Hey fred
I know places that chrome plate things use crates like your talking about maybe if you call one of them they could steer you in the right direction.
