I just received an e-mail from CPO with a special on a Powermatic PM2000 limited edition table saw. I found it again by googling “powermatic pm2000 limited edition”. There were 4-5 vendors selling this sale (comes with 3HP 1 phase motor, 50in fence system) for $2200. This is advertised as a limited quantity sale.

I just ordered a new saw, so am not in the market. Those of you who may be in the market may want to look into the offer for all the details. Not sure if it has all the bells and whistles that come regularly with the PM2000.

I saw this e-mial and it is tempting. I have been debating between this one and a Sawstop for some time now. This is a good price on this saw and it is 1/2 the price of the Sawstop. It makes me want to pull the trigger and order one. With a sale like this I am sure that Powermatic needs to move some inventory. If only Sawstop had the same problem (deep sigh)!!

I guess I will have to check with my wife and see if she will give me an advance on my allowance!!

I think its funny that they put a better motor that won’t have the issues that their other motors keep having and dropped the price a little.

Oh by the way, there is an ebay seller with these at the 2200 price with free shipping, combine that with the 9% MS Live cash back and you got yourself a sweet steal.

I received the same email from WMH tools. I WAS in the market but I have changed my mind. Maybe in a few years.
