Hi all, I hope all is well with everybody. I STILL haven’t made a wood project of any significance, with spring upon us here in Georgia I have been busy mowing grass (I have eleven acres), weedeating and planting my garden (Lots of yummy fresh veggies). I am also embarassed to say that I have not yet repaired the door to my chicken house and yes they are still on anxiety meds because of it!! I am planning on putting up a six foot privacy fence (from who? I live in the country!) Actually it’s because I want to put in a hot tub and I don’t want the squirrels to see me naked hahaha! I am also on this awesome oatmeal diet and I have already lost ten pounds in less than two weeks. (I’m only five foot two, so my comfortable weight is around 110 to 115 and I have about 8 pounds to go!) I have been checking out some of the beautiful projects you guys (and gals) are making and WOW are you folks talented! I so want one of the neat cutting boards to use with my fresh veggies from the garden! So what’s new with you guys???? Love and oatmeal, Cheryl

Planting your garden and “weed eating”- can’t wait for the veggies to come up, huh? :^) Tried that oatmeal diet once, all it did was make me want to wear a funny black hat and say “thee” instead of “you” and made me gain weight- maybe I ate too much.

Looking forward to seeing the your cutting board!

Its about a month and a half or so too early for planting here, still a possibility of snow and frost. At least my shop is heated and can work year round. I feel sorry for the jocks who get frozen out of theirs.

with 11 acres to mow, i’d need a biiig mower to finish faster! more time for fun.

Augusta GA, hmmmm, you wouldn’t have an extra ticket for the masters would ya?

Lew, I’m not making a cutting board, but have been looking at them on this site, would love to buy one though, and “thee” haha!! DHG – yep I mow alot but nothing runs like a deere! I do have tickets to the Masters for the practice round and if I don’t get rained out I’m going. I may try to play golf tomorrow.

Cherylf, thats great you tickets for the practice round. I lived in Eufaula Al for a couple of years and my folks came to visit and did some site seeing around the south and went to the course and could only get to the gate. Some of the courses have opened here but it’s still a little to sloppy and cold for me.
Have fun playing if you get out tomorrow.

What is the size of your chicken house door opening?

-- Never board, always knotty, lots of growth rings
