Topic tags/keywords: welcome

Hello. Thanks for all the welcomes. I didn’t expect it. haha. I don’t know if I’ll be able to contribute much to the site since I am young and pretty new to woodworking, but I’ll try my best.

We are glad to have you on-board. There are a wide variety of participants here- from talented pros and amateurs to those just beginning their woodworking journey. The common thread that runs through us all is simply the love and enjoyment of wood. Everyone, irrespective of their individual talent and ability, has something to contribute to and learn from the other members of this group. I am looking forward to seeing some of your projects and comments posted.

This group is full of teachers and learners. And we all wear both of those hats sometimes.

Just because you are young, doesn’t mean you have nothing to contribute. You have the advantage of looking at things with “new eyes” and will see things some of us overlook.

Welcome Matt. I’m young too. Just 6 decades + 3 years. Keep that dust flying and show us your work..

I have been a cabinet builder and designer for over 35 years and I still learn things from this group of people. Enjoy the sight!

Thanks everyone. Well I hope to learn. I am actually only a 15 year old kid, but I am taking a Construction technology class. So I probably won’t have some projects for a little bit.

Welcome lot LJs.

Remember ‘the only stupid question is the one that goes unasked’ of course there is the other stupid questions that teachers (I used to be one) hate is ‘will this be on the test?’ LOL!

Check out some of the great projects here and soak up as much as you can as this is a great collection and range of woodworkers here.

hahaha. Thanks everyone. Well I just bought some nice oak boards at the hardware store last night so a project will be coming soon. All that is left is to get a solid design down.

Have your say...
