I used some on a spalted maple pen blank. I soaked it, let it dry for a week, then turned the pen. It didn’t harden the wood as much as stiffen it. My results were poor(my own fault). I don,t know if this helps , but maybe start off with something small. Good luck. -- Andy Stark |
