I recently acquired a Cole Jaws for my lathe, but am unable to figure out how to install the jaws on my chuck. The chuck I have is a Oneway Teknatool chuck. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks, pkennedy

You should be able to take the jaws that are on the chuck off and replace them with the Cole jaws. You will need an allen wrench. If this does not work let me know.

I did take the jaws off the chuck, but the holes for the Cole chuck did not align. The salesman at Woodcraft told me that the Cole Jaws would fit any Nova chuck. I thought the Oneway Teknatool chuck was a Nova, but being really new at turning I am not sure. What I do know is when I removed the jaws with an allen wrench the holes on the chuck were too far apart for the holes on the Cole jaws. pkennedy

Go back and look at your chuck again .
It can be a “Oneway” or a “technatool” but not both.
When you find out which you have , call the store you are dealing with and make sure they have the right parts for you before making the trip back.
It might be a good idea to take your chuck with you.

Chief:
Try going to this website (Oneway) . They have three different series of chucks so you may have jaws for another type.
