I’m considering a flatmaster drum sander and was wondering if anyone has used it for inlay work? It seems like it would be perfect for leveling things out…...

I have a FlatMaster 24 but I haven’t used it for any inlay work. I think it would work great because it does sand things flat. Everything registers off the flat table, so it will sand whatever you are working on flat, in reference to the table. You can use very fine paper so that you don’t cut through the inlay.
