Looks like a nice deal.
Anyone use this set?

Haven’t used that one specifically, but I did get a three jaw chuck from Grizzly that has worked well for mostly spindle and rolling pin turning so far. The fit and finish were good, not great but good. I also ordered a face plate that was made from aluminum and the machining on it was far worse, still functional but not pretty.

I actually like 3 ¾” 4-jaw chucks better if have a mini or midi lathe due to distance between centers. Also because very popular with many woodturners and jaws from Vicmarc compatible.

Yes optional pin & Dovetail jaws cost extra!

I posted info on this family of chucks last year after seeing them in 2014 catalog. See corrected some description errors they had this year. They also dropped the ¾” x 16 tpi threaded adapter and only offer 1” x 8 tpi. Do not know if can upgrade thread adapters if buy a bigger lathe with 1 ¼” x 8 tpi spindle.

Thanks Bill,
I went with the 3 3/4 4 jaw Vicmarc clone, Got a heck of a deal on Amazon for $ 41.52 with free shipping.
I also pickup the pin and dovetail jaws also a bunch of other stuff I needed.
While I think the set is a pretty good deal I didn’t want to spend $ 200.00+ for a unknown chuck.
It’s not the same as the 3 3/4 chuck.
Thanks for all the help.
Rick

I have the basic Grizz chuck with which I’m pleased. Just wish that the full combo set was available when I bought the original.
Oh well…...............
