I received a 24” level from my wife’s grandfather and I can’t find any information on it anywhere. He couldn’t remember anything about it either. Hopefully the pictures will be somewhat telling to someone with my experience than I. The frame appears be of excellent quality with fine mill marks on the top and bottom as well as the ends. All three bubbles are adjustable and painted with crackle black and red paint. Any ideas?

Is that a metal frame or hard plastic ?

It’s aluminum, either die cast or an excellent sand casting.

I have one similar but it’s a fiber/plastic//carbon ? frame. No marks on it either
