I am getting close to getting my shop back set up since my move. Does anyone have some recommendations for some good places that carry a good selection of hardwood. I use 4/4 and 8/4 domestic and exotics

I live in Blairstown, NJ

Thanks!

Tyson

Not really, a bit further south below DC, woodfinder.com is a great site, put in your zip and then you can filter by distance wholesale species etc, great site

Wood Boards and Beams in Fairfield, www.woodboardsandbeams.com. Just pay close attention to what you’re getting – I’ve heard stories and have had one negative experience. I’m in Montville, about 5 minutes away.

Although you are a long way north, the Willard Brothers mill in Trenton is an excellent source of hardwoods. They are not far of Hwy 1 but in a very back roads area. Sometimes relatively expensive but high quality wood and top notch service.
