Help with pricing

Sounds like a decent saw. You might look at ebay for more comparison pricing.

Craigslist doesn’t make any money from most of the ads – they charge a fee for a couple of specific categories – real estate listings, I think.

Didn’t think ebay had big stuff like this. I checked—- here’s one with a buy now price of $600. Mine looks a lot nicer – its not the same saw but if he can get $600 for this then I should do as well.

Why are you selling the saw?

I would like to get a saw stop. I’m a little unstaedy on my feet so accidents can happen—- so I think I should decease the chances a bit. It’s a sturdy piece of equipment. Pricey yes, but I think I’ll get my monies worth.

With the base…..I would probably ask for about 800.00. Don’t think I would take less than 600.00
Maybe 600 and keep the base if it will work with the sawstop

i’d given you $600 in a heartbeat. When I was looking for mine I kept finding them for $900-1100. I ended up finding new on Amazon for $1300, so I bought new. I think the $800 is about right. I would have come and looked and offered $700-750 probably knowing a new one was double that. I got lucky on my new unisaw. I was purchased about when the X5’s were coming out so clearanced for a model change. Every once in a while I find a deal like that.

Regarding craigslist, job postings required a fee (not sure if they still do).

I got lucky and found a friend at work who’s brother was interested in it. We’ve made the deal and he’ll get the saw on Saturday. Then I’ll be cleaning up the garage, reorganizing and preparing for my new saw stop.

bentlyj had some good advise…... post it high so if you have to, you can come down a little. It will sell…. may take a little time, but it will sell.
