I have an opportunity to buy a Pro 40 Vega rip fence for $150 brand new in the box. I have read some reviews and they were mostly positive. Has anyone had any major issues with it? I will be installing it on an early 90’s model Delta contractor’s table saw. I would prefer to have the Bismeyer fence, but the budget will not allow at this time. I like the idea of having a 40 inch rip fence. What are your thoughts?

They work great. Just do not over tighten the fence lock. I had students that did this and it broke a brass plate in the lock. It was easy to replace and that was the only time it happened.

Solid fence from everything I’ve heard.
