Hello people, my name is Dan and I am in Louisville, KY. A friend just told me about this site so I thought I would give it a try. Some of you may know me from other forums around the web. I have been woodworking for about 10 years now in everything from turning to furniture building. Just getting started with a new puter here and have not transferred any pics into it yet. I will try and get my profile updated soon

Hey, Dan. I’m glad to welcome another newb to lumberjocks. I’m on the good side of the river in Jeffersonville, so we’re practically neighbors.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Welcome Dan,
I think you’ve arrived at the best wood working site on the Web. Tell me is the Kingfish restaurant still at the end of Fourth St.? I spent a little time in Shively quite a few years back. Enjoyed every minute I was in Louisville. Saw the Iron Butterfly at Freedom hall, and Inagodavida is still ringing in my ears all these years later. Hope you enjoy the site and am looking forward to seeing some of your pics’.
