I jus received this e-mail from Bill Knadler of segmentedturning. Thought maybe some of you segmented turners might be interested.

“I’m writing this just in case you don’t already know! If you already heard, I’m sorry for the repeat message.

The AAW Symposium in Albuquerque this June will be the site of some history making. We intend to create a Segmented Turning chapter of the AAW! The first ever Segmented Turning Symposium that was held in Indianapolis this past November saw some 100 of the country’s segmenters meet for the first time. It was quite a site and the Instant Gallery was something to behold.

If you know any other segmented turners who might be interested in attending our Albuquerque session, please pass this information along to them. And please let me know ( if you will be attending.

Access to the information about the AAW Symposium is at

You can find out what happened (including viewing an interesting video) in Indianapolis at
