Topic tags/keywords: saws baileigh

I have been reading up on Grizzly, Jet and Powermatic cabinet table saws and just saw Baileigh which I have never heard of. I was on their website and was impressed with their equipment. Two things intrigued me that was on the Baileigh: the remote start and the dust collector was on wheels. Any opinions on the Baileigh vs the others?

They appear to be made in the same plant(s) as other cabinet saws and they are pricier (with apparently no additional value beyond the name and paint scheme).

I have a Grizzly 1023. Two years and no complaints. It will outlast me for sure.

I also watched some videos on the Hammer. A lot of great safety features. I’m only going to buy one my entire life so I want to make sure it has everything I need.

IMO Hammer is a step up to the others. But much more pricey.

If you’re willing to be your own middleman, Grizzly offers the most saw for the money IMHO. If you want dealer support, I’d look to Jet….not sure that Baleigh offers any advantage. PM is in the same price range and quality class as Saw Stop, but doesn’t offer their terrific safety feature, so from my view SS offers a huge advantage. Hammer is in a different league.

Go with the Grizz. You won’t be disappointed. Great customer service and parts supply if you should ever need both.
