Topic tags/keywords: question planer jointer

Hey guys I’m looking for some recommendations/advice. I am working on a few projects that require some boards to be planned to a set thickness and the edges ran through a jointer for a book match glue up. Since I do not own the necessary tools to do so myself (small apt = little to no space for big toys :/) do you guys have recommendations on where I can look to try and get access to those machines? im not sure if it’s ok to try asking around cabinet shops or other small businesses to pay to get access to their tools.

Regards,
Garrett

If there is a woodworking club nearby, you may be in luck.
You could hire a cabinet shop to finish mill your lumber, but I doubt most would let someone use the equipment.
