Sprunger was a small independent tool maker in Ligonier Indiana. They sold tools direct or through retailers like Montgomery Wards. It was mostly hobbyist grade stuff but parts, other than castings, were off-the-shelf hardware. I had a 6” Sprunger jointer and a drill press that were fine. I never used one of their band saws.

Take a look at some of the pics over at OWWM, many of the 14” models look like that one. Use the pull down to check bandsaws.
