poor man's saw, New here and this is my first post.
I recentlly purchased a Delta Sliding Table attachment from Craigslist. Got it cheap, it’s well used and missing some parts. After fabricating some parts myself, I attached it to an old Craftsman 10” table saw, along with a new Delta fence. It’s like a new saw now, however, I’m having trouble keeping the sliding table in alignment. I’m wondering if anyone here has had this experience and can offer some advice? Also would like to know, from those of you who own a Delta Sliding Table, what the bottom rail is made from? It was missing from the parts I purchased, so I made one from 1” steel tubing. It seems a little weak and a causes a slight table motion as the bottom roller reaches the end of the tube. I’m attaching a couple of photos. Thanks in old new saw
my poor saw
