I ordered a Steel City 65200 DC today from ToolKing. Anyone have a ballpark guess on turnaround time from ordering to delivery? I’m definately looking forward to getting it up and running. Thanks for any info. Also, has anyone added a cartridge filter to this unit? Any info is appreciated. I’ve been looking at the Wynn filters on other units.

Typically, they provide you with a tracking number and may even give you a rough estimate of how many days for delivery. Larger/heavier items that go by freight, are not as precise as UPS and Fedex. UPS and Fedex have this down to a science.

You should check with ToolKing to see if they can provide a tracking number or estimate for delivery to you.

Likely just a few days – they usually are shipping out of Lakewood Colorado (Denver suburb). If it comes direct from the manufacturer then it is harder to say, but like Dalec said you should get a tracking number and know pretty fast.

I like to go there during the Woodworking Show – as the Lakewood store is their only retail location, but they have incredible deals. They have gotten big into reconditioned as well.
My last trip 2 years ago they had PC 892 routers (recon) for 89 dollars – lord I wish I had gotten 2 of them.

Sounds like the Woodworking Show at Lakewood CO is the place to be.

Posted this on my blog, figured I’d throw it in here. Well it seems the Steel City DC is backordered until mid or end of March. ToolKing called this morning to let me know and see what I wanted to do. I talked to Tracy and got a deal going. I’m now receiving the Delta 50-760 DC for a slight increase. I must say that ToolKing was most helpful and accommodating. I was particularly impressed that they called to let me know the status on the order. Tracy and her manager were very nice to talk to and saved the sale in the process. By the way, the free shipping is a plus and my order ships tomorrow. So kudo’s to Toolking and it’s employees. My Delta compressor will now have some company. I am a very satisfied customer. Rockler and Toolking are 2 of the best for taking care of their customers.

Have your say...
