Topic tags/keywords: snake loose I went to adjust the sound level in my stereo system, laying there beside my Amp was a surprise.
This guy got out about 2 weeks ago and we’ve kept our eyes out for him. My wife was afraid that she’d find him. He found a small hole in the lid of his cage and worked his way out. I went to feed him a week ago and he wasn’t around for supper. He’s a Corn snake. Which is a kind of a mock Coral Snake. The Corals are poisonous. I’m glad this one is not because he bit me about a year ago. I guess i scared him when I went to pick him up. This is how he looks now that he’s out. He’s about 42” inches long. It was a problem because he wrapped himself around all of the wires in the back. I of course could not get back there without letting go, and I wasn’t about to do that.
I had to find his head and them work my way back and I was able to weave him out. As long as he thought he was getting away, he was willing to go forward. he just wouldn’t go backward. -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. No wait that doesn't sound right. Karson; If I had found that in my stereo, there would have been a couple of .45 holes in the cabinet and a mess on the floor. Q -- I don't make sawdust...I produce vast quantities of "Micro Mulch." |

He’s usually a good little guy but this is about the 5th time he’s gotten out. The first time was when we were showing the house in New Jersey. He’d been missing for about 3 months. I was down in the basement and i saw this fake snake up on a shelf in the basement. I went to pick it up and he moved. He was about the size of a small sharpie pen and about 12” long. I told my son I found him and not to say anything until the people that were looking at the house had left. They bought it. -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. Reminds me of a snake I used to have. I used to feed him goldfish. I had a branch over a water bowl where he would sit to wait for a fish to magically appear. -- Gary, East TX -- The longest journey begins with a single step. |

When I put him in his cage tonight. He went over and stuck his head in the water over his eyes and he drank for about 3 minutes. He must have been thirty. He’d lift his head up and look around, and then back into the water. He was keeping his eyes on the rat in the cage. I’d been feeding the rat, cheerios for the past week. -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. No wait that doesn't sound right. Karson Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com † |

I had a Colombian red tail boa that got out once and crawled up inside the couch. He decided to stay there and hibernate. I had to dismantle the couch when we moved, dont think the landlord would have liked an 8’ boa constrictor left in his apartment. -- My job is to give my kids things to discuss with their therapist....medic20447@gmail.com |

Very pretty, but he might have ended up as a hat band in my house. I’m not so much afraid of snakes as I don’t want one climbing in bed or surprising me when I’m not prepared for a visit. I rescued large black garden snake from being run over by pursuading it to go into a branch so I could move it out of the road way. My husband thought I was crazy, but I ran over a snake once and saw it writhing in pain in my rear view mirror and never quite got over that. -- "They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night." ~ Edgar Allan Poe |

Hey buddy; Your wife must be pretty easy going. My wife would shoot both me and the snake. I was thinking it was there for the warmth of equipment also, but maybe it was the music. Lee -- by Lee A. Jesberger http://www.prowoodworkingtips.com http://www.ezee-feed.com |

I once crawled up on a rattlesnake while going through military tatical squad training. He gave me no warning first with his rattle section before biting the end of my M1 Garand Rifle. Then we had a real fight going on. Since that time I have had several other run ins with snakes. I like them and I am not scared of them. That is a pretty snake you have Karson, but the Marines taught us to defend aganst them by not being around them to begin with. Yeah sure. Its a beauty. -- Rich, Nevada, |

What type of music does he like? Snake, rattle and roll? Lee -- No piece is cut too short. It was meant for a smaller project. |
