I just saw a video on sharpening and using card scrapers that I saw was cool. It’s pretty much idiot proof, but a little sanding is still needed to finish. I thought that it work well to help level out inlays, uneven spots and the such. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2mO_ItlBXw -- -JimmyC...Clayton,NC- "Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave" |

Jimmy, that is our own Todd Clippinger. Todd gave us the privilege of sharing this technique in his Shop Skills series that he posted here back in December. Todd is a both a wonderful teacher and an extremely knowledgeable woodworker. Todd epitomizes what it means to be a LumberJock. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |

Todd is one of the many natural teachers here on LumberJocks. I’ve learned quite a bit watching the videos. You could never buy all the knowledge and experience represented here. -- Working at Woodworking http://www.VillageLaneFurniture.com |
