I am at the place in my woodworking where I need to purchase a buscuit cutter. I saw the Porter Cable 557, about the right price for me. I will be working mostly with 3/4 inch pine boards. Looking for a sugestion on buscuit size for 3/4 inch boards and feedback on Porter 557. Thank you so much for your help ,(again).

I just typed in ‘porter cable 557’ in the search field at the top of LJ. I came up with some reviews from Lj’s.

Ok, thats all I needed. Thank you so much for the help. I’ll try the search first before I decide I’m stumped next time.

I’ve had mine for several years and think it is a great tool. The dust bag actually captures all the waste. I usually use size 20 biscuits for that size board.
