Topic tags/keywords: question

Just a question about the gap for inset doors.
Is 1/16” gap enough between the plwood box and poplar inset doors. Should i go bigger? How much smaller should i cut the doors, is there a standard rule?
thanks

When we use inset doors we allow 1/8” on all 4 sides of the door. This prevents any sticking as your doors expand and contract and gives plenty of room for the hinges.
