Topic tags/keywords: rant babble insane ramblings

Then came a steady shaking and an inability to sit still. I realized that I not only hadn’t logged onto Lumberjocks in over 8 hours, but now I find that I CAN’T. Oh the humanity! It’s 2am…I’m laying awake in a house that is over 30 degrees. I go down to catch up on my cyber imaginary friends work. I still can’t. Then it’s the sounds in my head…the trembling, uncontrolled sweating. Panic has set in. I need to phone someone! Who can I phone…they are all my imaginary friends. I picture Martin in a mess of cabling and smoked hard drives. What can I do. I can’t do anything. I’m so helpless.

Then, it’s back. The world is, again, normal.

Good morning all!

During times of panic remember to remain calm and take deep breaths. When that don’t work go out to the shop and find your bigest hammer and have at it. LOL. Glad to see you made it.

Martin, you just can’t turn your back on the computer… sometimes they just want to be touched…. you know, like V’Ger.

LOL….and I thought I was the only one checking every ten minutes to see if it was back up. Hehe….I just noticed the tags for this one….shouldn’t “insane ramblings” be there as well…:)

Amazingly, I had been busy and not checked in! Not sure how I would have handled it. Mot, I am so sorry you had to endure the pain and anguish. :-0

That’s exactly how it works.
We had an old dog that acted just like that. He never layed on our furniture when we were home, but as soon as we left the house, that’s the first thing he’d do. We caught him at it after he became deaf. LOL

Yes, I checked Sunday morning and found the LJ site was not available. I was shocked, but managed to pull myself together to go do something else. When I returned today, it was back up.

It sounds like Martin will either need to hire some assistants or never take a day off! hahaha

I was not on for a whole week. We took our family down to gulf-port MS to help Huricane victums rebuild from the huricane. It was a real blessing to be able to help, We stayed in a small Hut that was donated to God’s Katrina Kitchen. they are doing some great work down there.

that just reminds us not to complain about our lives, doesn’t it?? !! !
Sounds like you had a very rewarding week!

As for LJ crashing, I thought “yah, I won’t be 5 pages behind on Monday”. I am only 4 pages of Pulse behind!

Obi’s right…...............your shop inspection travel has put a strain on Martin’s extension cords. They only reach so far and the “Bordnerizing” Travel Agency has you stretching the LJ connections.
