Hello All,

I saw on another woodworking forum and I think here as well, about a Steel City 14” BandSaw.
It was at some .com but I can’t remember. Any ideas folks, it had free shipping. The Steel City
is a good saw right? I was going to get the Rikon 10-325 but this is on sale so do you guys and gals
feel this is a good choice/ dicision. Please Help if you can , I need to purchase soon.

RIKON _10-325 or Steel City 14” Delux

Has anyone heard about problems with either model?

Thanks All,

I’ve heard good reviews on the Grizzly products. Their shipping is reasonable.

I did a comparison of the Rikon and the steel city this lat weekend at Woodcraft. My personal opinion is the steel city was not built as well and the Rikon had the 13” resaw capacity without buying an extension block so to me the difference in price was not an issue. I did buy the Rikon. I do own other Rikon products and I have never had an issue or problems and I use my tools almost daily so they get plenty of use. But I received a email from woodworkers supply that they had the steel city with granite top for under $500.00. I don’t know about the free shipping because they didn’t say in the email.

I got the same email but it was not for the G model. So I called them today and they said it was for the
cast iron model. What is the granite advantage if any? I also want to know if anyone knows if there is a real concern with the tensioning release bar and guides?

Thanks All
