I picked up a Delta 14” bandsaw off Craigslist today. I am wondering if this was worth it. It’s a model 28-203. It came with 4 blades, one of which is a wood slicer. I paid $225 for it. Also while I was there he offered me to purchase a 1/2 HP Delta mortising machine for $100. That came with 4 bits/chisels.

After talking with him a while I scored a 106 board feet of S4S red oak for $159, and I will pick that up after the first of the year.

All in all, I think I made a great score today.

Pretty good, I’ve been looking for a mortising machine for a while now and everything good gets scooped up before I can look at it, all that’s left worn out machines for like new prices.

Tanks guys, It sure feels good to be on the winning end for a change. I have usually always been a day late or a dollar short. I have been looking for a band saw for a year and a half, and it finally paid off. Plus the mortising machine and the lumber was a nice bonus.
