I am looking for a good way to host my plans to allow other makers and woodworkers to download, where is a good free place to do so since I dont have a website of my own?

Instructables? The Box Sync cloud storage? (10 GB of free space).

The problem you will find with the free webhosting services is that they do nothing free. There will be a lot of advertising included that you don’t get paid for, space is usually limited as is bandwidth.
