Why leave? Did I miss something?

I am leaving. I have made some good friends but this place is no longer a good place to get advise. People barely read what you write and then the comments take off in some weird direction that isn’t helpful. I have local support and I have Charles Neil on speed dial.
I’m trying to make a living at professional woodworking and not doing too badly at it, not too good either but things are on a steady increase.
Plus life had dealt me a huge blow the last couple weeks, it will take time for me to come to terms with what has happened.
It’s not health related, but it’s devastating none the less.

Take care, check back in once in a while and let us know how things are going. Good luck and God Bless and keep your avatar message in mind as you deal with life’s obstacles,

Russell,I hope you find the inner strength and patience that you need in order to deal with what you are going through, this place might provide some support if you hang around and keep in touch, you only need one or two people who’s willing to listen, not the whole gang.

Good luck – and check back with us from time to time.

Seems to me you have gotten good advice about loose board dining tables, and kerfing natural slabs.

Sure topics go off on tangents… but seems to me I have always found that expanding a network was always a better route than shrinking the network of contacts for a woodworking business.

Hope all the best in you situation

Russell, I’ve always enjoyed your posts.
Hope you get things worked out on a personal level.
