A couple weeks ago my brother-in-law was waiting at a light less then a mile from home after work. A guy with no insurance and a out of the country drivers license driving a out of state truck wasn’t paying attention and hit him full speed. Which slammed him into the SUV in front of him.
It broke his back in two places and he had to spend almost a week in the hospital with a 4 hour surgery. He is doing fair now, at home but he is a blue collar labor kind a guy. His job is at a large battery place warehouse where he moves upward of 20,000lbs of batteries every day, a lot of that is transferring by hand from a stack to a pallet and/or shelves. So as I’m sure you can guess he will not be returning to work any time soon if at all.
This of course means he will not be bringing home a paycheck. My sister is holding up so far but when stuff starts piling up she will sink financially for sure. Larry (uncle doughnut) might have to go on disability but getting signed up for that could take many months if not a year.
What I’m asking is, if anyone has a couple bucks laying around that you would like to donate for a good family. I would be in debt to you all forever, I love my sister, bro-in-law and nephew and hate seeing them go thru all this. Its a bummer that one mans mistake (prolly texting) ruins an entire family forever.
We started a go fund me account for them I’m not sure if its tax deductible but it should be as far as i’m concerned I can find that out if you need.
Anyway here is the link http://www.gofundme.com/icjpgc
Thank you all for any support you can manage, and if you know anyone interested I would love if you wanted to repost this on FB or any other social media you know of.
