Topic tags/keywords: coring bowl saver

Hi folks,

I’m shopping for a bowl coring system for a 12” lathe. I can only find two systems for sale online currently—it looks like there are many more older systems that have fallen out of production for whatever reason. I have a budget of about $250, but this could be higher for the right setup.

I have been coring bowls using a parting tool only (not so fun), so even DIY systems might fit for my unsophisticated needs. Let me know if you have one!

Thanks!

Beware

Using anything other than very sturdy scrapers or properly handed bowl gauges is very dangerous.
