I have been going to auctions to try and get these c clamps I meed, but people just seem to think they are gold and bid them way to high. I need 30 so I can finish this canoe. Anyone know a company who would give a good bulk price?

How big?
Harbor Freight and Menards sell some small ones for cheaper than you find used.

I would second the harbor freight clamps. I would ask them if they can do a bulk discount…not sure if 30 counts as bulk, but it would be worth asking a store manager. I know they do bulk discounts on other stuff from time to time.

How about making some spring clamps from cutting slices from a plastic pipe.

Harbor freight has them on sale all the time for $1.49 – $1.99.

When Harbor Freight has their tent sales, they usually have C clamps at an extra low price. I bought 10 the last sale they had them for 1.99. 3”.
