Excepting the birth of my daughters and that of my wife, tomorrow is solemn day; a day to reflect on those who have served, are today serving and will someday answer the call of duty they feel in their hears. For me, today was also was a cherished day; the 239th birthday of the United States Marine Corp. I don’t post here much but I thought it a good time to change that. So, if you’ve a moment, please, take the opportunity to set down the hammer, lift up your heart and extend a hand to those who have given us so much; a none-too-easy task considering today’s domestic and foreign issue. It’s a simple gesture but one that will be appreciated more than you can know. And to my Brothers, Semper Fii. Duty,Honor and Country is alive and well.

Thank you for your service. I truly do understand how much that means as a Vietnam era vet.
