Topic tags/keywords: push drill hand tools yankee drill resource drill-driver

I have a Goodell-Pratt No 188A Push Drill , That I have finally broken the last bit I had. Does anybody know where I can get some new or gently used bits, I have checked EBay and they want more than they are worth. I have had this drill for a lot of years and I don’t consider it a antique tool, just a tool and I would like to use it, not make a display case to store it . Any help would be appreciated. I have never seen a ” Yankee drill” so I don’t know if those bits might fit.

Buy a hex adapter from Lee Valley that will allow you to use hex based drills. I bought one for my Yankee and it works like a champ.
Just be sure that you measure correctly to get the right sized adapter.
