my son wants me to make a model airplane on my scrollsaw that he can put together with nails and glue. normally not an issue but I cannot find a reasonable pattern online. I’m looking for something like an old biplane or something vintage like that. I’m going to help him cut all the parts out and he gets to build it. I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.

CD, will this be a toy he will play with or a model that will sit on a shelf after being built?

Well I cut out one that I just drew up quick but I’d like to make a nice one for him out of some nice wood.
This is the one that I cut out for him to nail together. We bought him his first handsaw and real hammer for it.

How about a P-51?
