I picked up a Crouch ET 40 Edge Sander recently. I went to buy a bandsaw for a friend and ended up buying the sander also. I couldn’t resist when I looked it over. I have some pretty decent tools but this is the heaviest well made tool I have by far. It looks like it was built to last forever. It has a 2hp single phase motor running on 220.V. It looks like the on/off switch is the only thing that has been changed on it. It uses a 6×108 inch belt. The table does not tilt and so is just for edge sanding. It makes my Jet OES80CS sander look a toy. It is too much machine for my hobby needs and takes up a little more space than I can spare. I am located between KC and Lawrence. I would be interested in trading for something I would use a little more like a spindle sander or a resaw bandsaw. If someone has a owners manual I would like to purchase a copy. If you are interested in this machine let me know.
