I am thinking of building this out of Cherry:

But I want the legs to be tapered like this:

Should a make the legs from a solid block of wood, or glue several pieces together?
Or I could horizontally stack and glue a bunch of 1” or 2” thick pieces together and then cut the taper.

Thanks

If you have the wood, I’d go with the solid legs. Barring that, glued up. Last option would be a stack. I think it’s just a matter of aesthetics. Structurally, as long as they’re attached sufficiently, they’ll all hold the bed up.
