I’ve made a bow case for a new recurve bow that I am giving my daughter for her birthday.

I’ve finished everything, and cut out the foam I bought to place the separate pieces of the bow in for transport.

The only problem is that it is UGLY green. I’d love to cover it with some soft material like felt or another soft cloth, but I don’t know how to do it to it will look good.

Does anyone have any ideas? ANY advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Milo

Felt, like used for Pool tables, works good… They have the Ugly Green, Bright Red, & I’ve even seen Nice Blue…

I searched Amazon for “felt toll and got his Link...

Have you considered flocking the foam? I flock the inside of some of my boxes and it is a simple process. I get my materials for this at an on line company called “Flock it”

Flocking the Foam would be a great band name.

Jim,
never heard of flocking like that before very cool looking stuff.

I flock wood. Never dried foam. I just apply a thick coat of latex paint of the right color and then apply the flocking material with the applicator which blows it on.

Jim,

Where do you buy your materials?
