CALLING ALL POWERMATIC MODEL 60 OWNERS! I need your help with a quick question:

I just purchased a used Powermatic Model 60. I’m in the process of refurbishing and setting up the machine and when I got to the infeed table adjustments I ran into a big conundrum. My problem is that in order to move and/or remove the table I need to loosen the gib screws. In order to loosen the gib screws I have to loosen the jam nuts. I can’t access the jam nut (the one in the center of the picture) because it’s tightly sandwiched between two raised surfaces in the castings; the mounting surface for the blade guard and the cutterhead bearing support are in the way.

I tried a standard wrench (open and closed end), socket wrench, adjustable wrench, and channel lock pliers all to no avail. If anyone has a fix or work around for this I’d greatly appreciate the help.
