We after many years or should I say Bronwen after many years, with my approval are both totally sick of fitted kitchens. She wants to have a bespoke kitchen made to her own wishes and design and I am in favor of that. These will be individual units, all made of solid wood not mdf or chipboard Hallelujah to that I concur. anyway one of the pieces which is next on the list is an old type possibly shaker in influence style bench 58 inches long ,and then 16.5 or 17 inches high and 13 inches wide other designs out with shaker are appreciated too.The bench will have to have a shelf or perhaps slats way down, just a little bit off the floor to maximize this valuable space under the seated portion. This is intended for a series of boxes to be fitted or preferably tool type totes made to size. I made Bron these for keeping vegetables in. and they have since become a great success. However I will need to make four or possibly five smaller ones to fit in the space under the main seat. I have some very old circa 200 years old Oregon pine church pews(.Read seats in the USA ) which I bought and I intend to use these as much as I can. anyone who can point me in the right direction please advise with ideas plans etc.The very very kindest regards to my dear friends her on LJ.
